USA Schutzhund Trial

The Greater Atlanta Schutzhund Association

 invites you to our yearly trial, November 21st.

Everyone is welcome! Come join us for a day of trial & training.

 

Saturday, November 21st

                  

        Lodging:

          Best Western 770-465-1022

           1595 East Park Place, Stone Mountain, GA 30087 (about 30 minutes from the field)

          Jameson Inn 770-867-1880

           9 Stafford Street, Winder, GA 30680 (almost 20 minutes)

          Both hotels do accept dogs 

 

 *** Call hotels for reservations & pet deposit ***

 

      Tentative Schedule: 6:30 Check In

                                    7:00 am – Tracking (about 10" dormant bermuda)

                                    BHs & Obedience to follow tracking **Level,

                                                                 Bermuda sodded OB field**

                                   Break for Lunch

                                   Protection

                       **All at judge’s discretion**

**The field will be available to train on after the trial**

 

Directions:

From I-285 / 78

     Take 78 east to Monroe.  Just before you get to the first Monroe exit (East Spring Street), you will pass over the Alcovy River and

     see a road on your left called Cedar Ridge Rd.  Take a left there, go 1 mile, and take a left at 599 Cedar Ridge Road. (Grey Mailbox)

  

From I-20

     Take 138 east to Monroe. When you get to Monroe take a left at the light, there will be a Super Wal-mart and Bank of America at the

    corner. This road will merge onto 78 west, once on 78 take your first right, Cedar Ridge Road, continue up Cedar Ridge Road for 1

    mile and take a left at 599 Cedar Ridge Road. (Grey Mailbox)

 

From I-85

     Take 316 east toward Athens. Take a right onto 11 headed toward Monroe; there is a Kangaroo gas station at the corner. Go 8

     miles and take a right onto Double Springs Church Road, if you pass the 84 Lumber you have gone too far. Go down Double

     Springs Church Road and take your first left onto Cedar Ridge Road. Head down Cedar Ridge Road and take a right at

     599 Cedar Ridge Road. (Grey Mailbox)

Directions to tracking field will be at the training field for competitors.

 

Lunch and drinks will be available at the club field.

In consideration for the opportunity to participate in and/or observe training, competition and/or exhibition, intending to be legally bound, I agree as follows:

                (1)  I will be fully and solely responsible for the actions of myself, my family and my dog(s) while engaged in any club activities, whether on club property, tracking fields, training grounds, competitions, shows or any other location;

                (2)  I will maintain control of and be responsible for the welfare of my dog(s) during all club-related activities;

                (3)  I hereby waive, release, hold harmless and defend this club, its officers, directors, members, guests, club and third-party trainers/educators, judges, agents, property owners and their successors from any and all claims of loss, injury or disease to myself, my family members, my property or my dog(s) arising directly or indirectly from, or in any way related to, participation in or attendance at any activities of this club whether on or off club property;

                (4)  To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend this club, its officers, directors, members, guests, spectators, club and third-party trainers/educators, judges, agents, property owners and their successors and assigns from any and all claims of loss, injury or disease to any other persons, dogs or property arising directly or indirectly from, or in any way related to, the participation of myself, my family or my dog(s) in, or attendance at, any activities of this club whether on or off club property;

                (5)  In case of emergency, the club may in its sole discretion authorize medical treatment for myself, my family or my dog(s);

                (6) The club has my permission to take and use photographs, videotapes and other recordings of club activities involving myself, my family or my dog(s) for any lawful purpose without compensation; and

                (7) I will abide by club and event rules.

The club hereby disclaims any undertaking to protect personal property, including vehicles and contents, equipment, cameras and valuables, from loss, theft, damage or vandalism and disavows any responsibility for any and all such losses that may occur at any club activity.
